Your day will look like…..
The purpose of this position is to lead and perform the solution architecture activities required during the discovery phase of large client-facing projects (e.g. E-commerce replatforms) as well as at periodic checkpoints during the customer lifecycle (e.g. programme increments).
As a Solution Architect, you will be expected to write and own the solution documentation that forms the cornerstone of a project – ensuring that it is kept up to date and relevant to our client’s needs – as well as working closely with Technical Architects to ensure that the high-level solution is feasible, achievable and of sufficient quality to be successful during the lifecycle of the project.
You will be required to consult with, guide and advise our clients on their e-commerce platform’s functionality, the utilisation of in-built features and their roadmap. And will be a key member of the Technical Design Authority and help ratify design decisions made across KPS’ project portfolio.

You’ll be experienced in…
- Previous experience working as a Solution Architect on Ecommerce (B2C/B2B), Omnichannel Retail or Customer Experience solution landscapes (highly desirable)
- Practical experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris with knowledge of key system architecture, modules and out-of-the-box features (highly desirable)
- Good understanding of digital / E-commerce technologies and headless architectures (highly desirable)
- Experience using modelling techniques designed for systems’ architecture and analysis e.g. context diagrams, integration diagrams, data flow diagrams, UML (class, sequence diagrams) (highly desirable)
- Proficient user of MS Office and Google Suite (desirable)
- Practical knowledge and experience of the Atlassian software suite, especially Confluence for documentation purposes (desirable)
- Experience working with other SAP C/4 Suite products e.g. Customer Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Emarsys, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud (desirable)
- Experience designing the solution for the integration with middleware e.g. SAP CPI, MuleSoft (desirable)
