IDeaS is seeking a skilled and proactive Regional Solutions Enginner who is a fluent in French, to join our global solution engineering team. As a Regional Sales Engineer you will work in collaboration with IDeaS Sales teams and IDeaS Account Management teams to provide pre-sales support in relation to the successful selling and installation of IDeaS solutions. Utilize knowledge of industry or industry segment process and challenges, provides pre-sales discovery and consulting services including customer discovery and solution design. Prepares and performs product demonstrations and for current and prospective customers. To be considered for this Regional Solutions Engineer role you must be fluent in French to have business level conversations.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Regional Solutions Engineer provides pre-sales technical support to customers.

  • Works with sales staff to outline appropriate solutions and leverage sales opportunities.

  • Develops proposals and conducts demonstrations and presentations to customers and prospects.

  • Provides reliable delivery of targeted project results through role as expert in the application of specific IDeaS methodologies, projects, and technologies.

  • Shows IDeaS solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes as assigned.

  • Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.

  • Regional Solutions Engineer co-operates with account management in developing account strategies, assessment of account needs and critical sales issues to ensure account satisfaction.

  • Provides support at marketing events, trade shows and user group meetings.

  • Participates in technical presentations to customers and prospects, compiling training documents and writing technical reports.

  • Leverages detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.

  • Applies advanced knowledge of IDeaS products and solutions in sales opportunities

  • Utilizes IDeaS strategic selling techniques and in-depth domain/industry knowledge with account executive to strategize on prospects and develop strategic sales objectives

  • Effectively works as lead of team for complex sales involving multiple skill sets

  • Serves as a lead technical resource, counseling staff on technical issues and technical prototype development.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of product positioning, pricing, proposals, and models

  • Able to host a user-group meeting, corporate training or seminar

  • May serve as subject matter expert on projects

  • Knowledge sharing to internal staff

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in technical sales, pre-sales, sales engineering or solutions engineering, ideally from the hospitality technology or revenue analytics industries, experience with solution selling a SaaS product. OR 5+ Years experience with hands on revenue management, Yield Mangement, Pricing Analytics within the world of hotels or hospitality technology.

  • Technical aptitude or desire to understand technical areas such as data management, system integration, business/data intelligence.

  • A minimum of business level fluency in French.

  • Public speaking experience.

  • Industry experience in Revenue Management or Yield Management or Revenue Analytics.

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Good Industry knowledge of Hotel or Hospitality Technologies.

  • Strong problem solving, organization, decision-marketing skills.

  • Demonstration strong project leadership and resource management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to travel on a frequent basis., Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement stated above.
