The Speciality Learning Partner will identify learning and development needs, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality solutions. This will involve working with and influencing different stakeholders across our business, and developing and delivering a variety of learning experiences and resources.
Key accountabilities
- In partnership with the Group L&D team, design and develop commercially relevant solutions, undertaking the relevant diagnostic and needs analysis.
- In close collaboration with the HRBP’s, deliver commercially-aligned learning solutions, and where relevant train the trainer for our existing solutions.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop a Specialty portfolio of learning products and solutions.
- Partner with the Group L&D COE team, HRBP’s and business clients at global and local level to develop and deliver user-centric solutions – taking into consideration the full learning lifecycle e.g. learning needs analysis, design, delivery and facilitation.
- Work with the Group Learning and Development Lead to utilise new innovative thinking to identify ways to improve learning initiatives and their ROI.
- Partner with the business to deliver engaging induction plans for new starters and integrating businesses.
- Promote a high-performance and inclusive culture through the development and delivery of learning solutions.
- Support the ongoing review and evaluation of the learning portfolio of interventions and materials.
- Work with compliance and the Group HR Team to ensure that we work within the guidelines of regulatory requirements to deliver engaging mandatory learning.
- Partner with the Group HR team to ensure that we are utilising the apprenticeship levy in the most appropriate manner.
- Provide key data and analytics to inform our learning strategy and ensure we’re delivering optimal outcomes.
Skills & Attributes
- An experienced learning professional, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Learning function.
- Experienced in designing and delivering fit for purpose and engaging learning content.
- Proven facilitation skills in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Ability to coach managers and leaders to identify learning needs in their teams.
- Ability and experience in diagnostic and needs analysis, translating this into commercially relevant learning solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills who can build trusted relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience of working within matrixed organisations, understanding the need to collaborate across functions and not work in isolation.
- Experienced with digital learning.
- Collaborative and growth mindset.
- Knowledge of Feedback Tools (e.g. 360).
- Curiosity and knowledge of future content creation and delivery methods to enable future-ready learning solutions.
- Knowledge of Workday LMS.
- Knowledge of technical insurance related learning/the insurance market.
- Psychometric/personality profile trained (Hogan/Insights etc.).
