INTERIM HEAD OF TECHNICAL SERVICES

Park Avenue are working exclusively with a Local Authority in Essex who require an Interim Head of Technical Services. This role is on an initial 6 month contract, which will be extended another 3-6 months whilst they find a permanent replacement – something you’ll support with!

The role will see you working client side to bring their housing stock back in-house from an ALMO at the end of March. You’ll manage the transition, with the aim of easing the process of bringing the contract and team (2.5 perm staff) back to the council. You’ll also be responsible for holding the team accountable for the day-to-day management of the programme works (reroofing, window replacement, central heating projects) and capital investment.

This role is hybrid. You’re needed in the office 3 days per week, but this can be reduced once you know the team, council and portfolio.

Experience in Local Authorities and/or Housing Associations is essential. The hiring manager will be commencing interviews from the start of February.
