Head of Product – Web3, Crypto, Blockchain – FCA Regulated Entity
Excellent opportunity to own Product in a centralized crypto exchange alongside an FCA-regulated Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF). You will offer a comprehensive suite of solutions, including primary markets, OTC trading, and custody services for crypto assets, FIAT currencies, and securities. The platform also specializes in tokenization services, bridging traditional and digital finance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive list of project requests, enhancements, and major technical debt items. Regularly review this list with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on business value, urgency, and resource availability.
- Design, review and provide feedback on draft business cases and project charters to ensure they meet organisational standards and objectives.
- Oversee \”Projects in Progress\”, ensuring clear visibility into project/epic assignments for the upcoming sprints.
- Ensure project timelines, goals, and responsibilities are transparent and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
- Actively participate in sprint reviews, especially when new major features are introduced, to ensure alignment with product goals and user expectations.
- Attend sprint planning, 3 Amigos sessions, and pre-planning meetings as needed to support the development process.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all systems from both a user and technical perspective. Demonstrate this knowledge to prospective clients, investors, and issuers as needed.
- Develop a working knowledge of back-end services and API capabilities to effectively communicate product functionality and limitations.
- Maintain regular communication with the wider IT team to address concerns and collaborate on solutions to issues raised by other departmental managers.
- Support IT initiatives by providing product-related insights and facilitating resolution of cross-functional challenges.
- Maintain awareness of any fundamental system architecture changes discussed or decided by senior IT developers and managers. Assess potential impacts on product strategy and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of CeFi exchanges both in crypto and TradFi
- Prudential knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and interest in WEB3
- Energetic personality with the drive to effect change and develop relationships across all levels of the business
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
