Crone Corkill are currently partnered with a global SME as they look to add a Head of Business & Technology Projects to the business. Working as part of the Technology team, you’ll spearhead Digital Transformation projects across all business areas, with a key focus initially on business-wide automation. They’re looking to automate processes, remove menial tasks, and ultimately optimise internal and customer experiences.
This is a 100% office based role, requiring you to work from their office near Gunnersbury station 5 days per week.
What will you do as a Head of Business & Technology Projects?
- Initially lead projects focused on automating booking processes to give customers more ownership; digitising functions; removing menial tasks that are currently completed manually and rolling out a Digital Platform to their wider network. Further projects will follow.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion across multiple departments.
- Collaborate across IT, stakeholders, and end users.
- Develop and implement project plans (defining scope, objectives, and deliverables).
- Adhere to project budgets and financial targets.
- Manage technology and business driven projects.
- Monitor projects, identify risks, and create strategies to reduce risk exposure.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and executives.
- Attend client meetings and board presentations.
- Manage one report.
What skills do you need to be a Head of Business & Technology Projects?
- Certified PRINCE2 or PMI (essential).
- Experience leading automation/technology focused projects.
- Experience leading projects outside of IT.
- Good understanding of Jira and Microsoft tools.
- Strong soft skills – Need to be able to push deadlines, lead conversations, manage stakeholders, etc.
- Business or Engineering Degree (desirable).
