Description

We’re looking for a creative problem-solver with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively mitigate obstacles to join our Business Applications team as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will work with third-party vendors and lead a small team, overseeing the planning and delivery of projects related to our key business systems, including Salesforce, marketing system integrations, and other go-to-market applications, ensuring seamless implementation and optimization across the Siteimprove estate.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the planning and monitoring of all technical projects managed by the Business Applications team, focusing primarily on Order to Cash and pipeline generation systems, which encompass platforms such as Salesforce and Zuora.
  • Establishing project stage gates and milestones, and providing regular reports on progress to senior leadership and business partners.
  • Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members and managing team delivery sprint ceremonies.
  • Managing a multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively to ensure optimal project delivery.
  • Managing supplier dependencies and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensuring all risks are adequately addressed, with mitigation strategies in place.
  • Ensuring clear communication between all stakeholders.
  • Designing and implementing simple, transparent processes to support the team’s prioritization and delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • Managing the workload of the Business Applications Development team through sprint management processes, ensuring tasks are effectively planned and completed on time – includes overseeing both internal team members and any external resources engaged in development tasks within the scope of Business Applications for Siteimprove.

What we will require of you

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical project team members to maintain a strong delivery focus.
  • Proficiency in applying different project delivery methods to meet business goals in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • A strong track record, overall, 5-8 years of experience managing large/full scale, complex projects, successfully managing projects and teams in an Agile environment from initiation to completion.
  • Practical experience with software development lifecycles and project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Prototyping) and associated documentation.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications such as Professional Scrum Master II, SAFe 5, PRINCE2, or PMP.
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, MS Project, MS Office, Outlook, and CRM systems.
