The Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented eCommerce Assistant to support the day-to-day management of our website and online retail operations. This role will involve maintaining and optimising website content, ensuring accurate product uploads, managing pre-order timelines, and assisting with visual merchandising to enhance the customer experience and drive conversion. You will also play a key role in event and campaign execution across multiple websites, ensuring timely updates and seamless alignment with marketing initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for data entry, reporting, and maintaining customer databases to support our overall eCommerce strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in eCommerce and digital marketing, with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. While prior experience with Shopify and the luxury fashion industry is beneficial, it is not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, working closely with the wider team to enhance website performance and customer engagement. A proactive attitude, ability to multitask, and enthusiasm for the industry will be key to success in this role.
Job Description:
Website Maintenance
- Optimise visual merchandising to enhance product placement and drive conversions.
- Create and manage product bundles to maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure pre-order delivery timelines are accurately updated and maintained.
Product Management
- Upload and manage product listings and images, using the website’s build tool.
- Test and troubleshoot the build tool to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accuracy and relevance by updating historical product pages.
Event & Campaign Management (Across Two Websites)
- Upload and manage event details, ensuring timely removal once completed.
- Work closely with the team to update the site in alignment with campaigns and promotions.
Data Entry & Reporting
- Tag Klaviyo orders and update customer databases with new customer details.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on product performance, email marketing, sales reporting and third-party performance to support the eCommerce Manager.
- Maintain third party apps in line with product launches and brand campaigns.
Website Optimisation & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure functionality, accuracy, and a seamless user experience.
- Perform quality checks on email marketing links to confirm correct redirection to site content.
Ad Hoc Administrative Support
- Provide flexible support across various eCommerce functions as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree in fashion, marketing or related field preferred.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Keen interest in Ecommerce and marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Experience working on Shopify ideal, but not necessary.
- Experience working in the fashion industry, particularly in the luxury market ideal, but not necessary.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed with a sharp eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure, and ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
