Job Responsibilities – Define & drive the strategic deployment of the entire divisional media budget across all 4 brands and be accountable for defining media priorities by making strategic investment decisions, based on business priorities. – Work with the brand teams and media agency to develop full funnel media plans (including retail media and performance media), to drive business performance, integrating learnings from internal MMM studies, Rules of Engagement & best practices. – Take a strategic view across brands & categories to ensure the LDB division is meeting its broader goals (market share / consumer targeting etc). – Lead teams to deliver Media ROI and content strategies including performance media assets. – Ownership of divisional performance media budget and asset development across brands for social platforms. – Work with the brand & finance teams to ensure spend is managed to budget & on time – setting up strong process for managing phasing, changes to budgets etc. – Work with the multi-divisional teams to ensure that all governance rules & targets are met & if necessary, recommend new local rules based on learnings. – Be responsible for the LDB division hitting targets of use of 1P data in media, including driving new test & learn initiatives across platforms and lead on 2P activations. – Contribute to the development of the strategic roadmap & best practice for key media platforms including retail media partners in conjunction with multi-division teams. – Lead the understanding of competitive investment trends, media mix & creative learnings. – Work with multi divisional team to drive the innovation / testing agenda to ensure our division remains at the forefront of pioneering media opportunities. – Own the relationship with key stakeholders in the agencies and internally within our multi-divisional & international teams. – Manage and lead a team of media experts & drive upskilling for the division. Who You Are Strong media expertise & experience, analysing, owning & delivering full funnel media plans. Strong expertise & understanding of the role of different media channels & platforms, objectives & measurement techniques. Media agency planning experience on traditional & digital channels. Extensive experience in relevant media agency, group or advertiser. Comfortable with data analysis and budget management within complex environments. Team management experience, ideally of at least minimum 3 people & ideally including matrix reporting lines. Strong interest in media, market developments and innovation, with curiosity to try the unproven. Good written & verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex or technical matters in a simple way across all levels of the organisation. A positive attitude to ambiguity and able to tackle problems with a structured approach. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and agency partners.
