This highly regarded practice with a strong and ever-growing reputation for residential conveyancing is looking for a deputy head of conveyancing. This will be a hybrid role where you work from their Central London office for 3 days per week and 2 at home.
Role
- You will operate as the number 2 in the team and deputise for the head of conveyancing. You will need to have the gravitas as a leader but also be experienced in training and developing staff.
- You will need to have a minimum of 6 years PQE and quite likely substantially more experience with no upper limit.
- You will run your own files – approximately 50 live instructions – freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and new builds as well as overseeing a team of approximately 25-30 staff.
- You will ensure your team performs and consistently hits their targets and identify where training and growth is needed.
Package
You will receive a very competitive base salary in the region of £70,000 – £90,000 per annum plus an exceptionally good bonus for hitting your target and further bonuses for your team hitting target.
Additionally, you will receive health care, discounted gym membership, life insurance and a holiday allowance of 30 days per year. You will also be able to work from home for 2 days per week.
