We have an opening for a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients London office. This is an exciting opportunity to be apart of an award winning Civil & Structural Design consultancy. You’ll be joining a well-established team of talented Engineers and working as apart of a team of 40. Our client offers a full range of urban engineering services, taking projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. From advice on large scale masterplans to public realm interventions and the spaces between buildings. Additionally they provide detailed design for below ground drainage – including all technical discussions with water authorities for new connections, diversions and building over agreements – detailed external works, public realm, highways design and transport planning services. You will be producing high quality technical design on a range of refurbishments, new builds across a wide range of sectors. What you need to succeed 5-8 years of experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy To be Chartered ideally or nearing Chartership with the ICE. Excellent written and verbal skills. Experience of developing SuDs strategies for major developments Experience in the design of below ground drainage systems and SuDs elements for building, highways and public realm. Experience of design in flood mitigation and developing sites in Flood Zone 3 would be advantageous. Knowledge of design softwares including Windes (Microdrainage), Civil 3D and use of BIM Experience in managing a small team of engineers
