Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Senior Management staff for our clients. We have been appointed by one of our clients, a Commercial Interiors Contractor, for a Site Manager on a contract or freelance basis for an office fit out in Norwich, Norfolk. Our client are an established Interiors Contractor based in London and due to winning this project in Norfolk they are ideally looking to hire someone locally on a freelance basis for the project from inception through to handover. The Project: Complete office fit out over several floors of a head office building where the floors will be occupied by staff. Complete strip out and refit to all offices, hallways, lobby and reception areas as well as refit of toilets and kitchen areas. Project value approx £2M. The Candidate: You will be from a trade i.e Carpentry/Joinery / Drylining or degree qualified in Construction Management A specialism in commercial fit out and refurbishment projects
Have worked for at least 4 years minimum in a standalone No1 Site Manager position on similar office fit out projects Hold valid certificates including SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Client facing and able to work within live office environments The Site Manager is required to be very involved in dealing with the clients and staff whilst they continue to work in the building alongside the construction works taking place. This is a hands on role and the Site Manager will be required to help with the daily works taking place on site.
