Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced School Administrator to join our dedicated team and ensure the efficient operation of our school's administrative functions. To support our growing school, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to join our successful school administration team.Job Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including attendance, student records, and correspondence.- Undertaking clerical duties related to the post such as production of letters, reports and other documents as requested using relevant ICT packages such as spreadsheets, databases, Word, internet and SIMS.- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, providing excellent customer service.- Coordinate school events, meetings, and schedules.- Maintain financial records, process invoices, and handle petty cash.- Assist with HR tasks, including staff onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance.- Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks and projects.- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.Qualifications and Skills:- Maths & English GCSE Grades 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent.- Proven administration experience in a school administrative role or similar environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management software (SIMS) – Excellent time keeping and organisational skills- Good interpersonal skills and resilience- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Familiarity with safeguarding and confidentiality protocols in an educational setting.Experience:- SIMS: 1 year (desirable)- Working within a school office: 1 year (desirable)- Administration experience: 3 years (essential) Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunities for professional development and training.- Supportive and collaborative work environment.- Pension scheme and additional school benefits.- Free parking available on site. – No weekend working.
