Job Title: Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist Band 6 Location: Central London Duration: 6-month rolling contract with review for extension Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 37.5 hours p/w (24/7 rota) Start Date: ASAP Rate of Pay: £28 – £29 per hour DOE (umbrella equivalent) Contact: Jessica – (phone number removed) / What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as a Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist and help provide excellent diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include: Performing a variety of haematology and transfusion laboratory tests Assisting in the preparation and analysis of blood samples for diagnostic purposes Conducting blood group testing, crossmatching, and other transfusion-related tests Maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulations Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care Requirements & Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have: HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist IBMS Accredited Degree At least 1 – 2 years of experience in a Haematology and Transfusion laboratory Strong communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship) Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, across a 24/7 rota.
