One of our clients are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Worker Room Leader to join our dedicated team and help lead our group of children through their important early learning journey. Key Responsibilities: * You will be a room leader in charge of looking after babies * Lead and manage a room of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development. * Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children\’s physical, social, and cognitive development. * Supervise and support a team of nursery workers, ensuring they adhere to the nursery’s policies and practices. * Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on children\’s progress and well-being. * Foster an inclusive and positive environment where every child can thrive. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. * Support the planning and implementation of the nursery’s curriculum. * Record and track children’s progress and development. * Handle any behavioral or developmental concerns with sensitivity and professionalism. Essential Qualifications and Experience: * Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field (or equivalent). * Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. * Strong knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and child development. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. * A passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential. * An ability to work as part of a team and independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable: * First Aid Qualification (or willing to obtain). * Safeguarding training (or willing to complete). * Experience with planning and delivering activities based on individual needs.
