Step into Teaching have a great opportunity to spend a full academic year as a graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant working in a wonderful Secondary School based just outside Evesham. The school creates a happy and secure learning environment where all students’ needs are met and where achievements along with successes are recognised and praised.
All staff are highly ambitious; therefore, the headteacher is looking for someone who is passionate about supporting their students and ensure every student reaches their full potential by having high expectations for all., * Attend to pupils’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes (must be comfortable taking both girls and boys to the toilet)

Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities

Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration

Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress

Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to

Hold/Predicted a degree (2:2 or above)

Previous experience working with young people with learning difficulties (preferred but not essential)

Be passionate about supporting children with their learning

Be enthusiastic, friendly and confident

Have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities

Must be able to relate well to young people and adults and have some understanding of the range of needs of young people with learning difficulties
