Job Description
Morgan McKinley are proud to be working with a dynamic, fast-growing organisation in the Northampton area to recruit a Management Accountant.\\n\\nManagement Accountant\\n£50,000 – £60,000 DOE\\nNear Northampton \\nHybrid \\n\\nPurpose of the role\\n Provide comprehensive management accounting support, including preparing monthly accounts, monitoring financial performance, producing key reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.\\n\\nKey responsibilities\\n\\nOversee smooth month-end close processes.\\n\\nPrepare monthly financial results and detailed cost analysis against budgets and prior periods.\\n\\nSupport budget preparation and financial forecasting.\\n\\nAssist with year-end audits and statutory reporting.\\n\\nProduce and submit VAT and other compliance returns.\\n\\nMaintain cash flow reports and monitor currency positions.\\n\\nSupport debt management and reconciliations.\\n\\nManage intercompany reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.\\n\\nDrive process improvements within the finance function.\\n\\nContribute to ad hoc projects as required.\\n\\nSkills & experience\\n\\nACCA / CIMA qualified\\n\\nExcellent accounting knowledge and attention to detail\\n\\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\\n\\nHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities\\n\\nProactive, resilient, and confident challenging existing processes\\n\\nStrong spreadsheet and reporting skills
