BAM UK & I are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join our Northern Region.
Your mission
Job Description:
Environmental Sustainability Expertise:
- Demonstrate evidence of delivering environmental improvements within the sector and associated trades.
- Possess knowledge of ISO14001 compliance and assurance, along with key environmental aspects.
- Support project implementation and delivery with associated procedures and plans.
Standards and Reporting:
- Adhere to industry standards, company procedures, and legal requirements.
- Communicate risks and opportunities to relevant projects.
- Understand key performance indicators and how they support improvement.
- Support the SESM/ESM as required to provide monthly reports and inform continual improvement.
Certification and Assessment:
- Familiarity with relevant environmental certification/assessment tools (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL, NABERs).
Effective Communication:
- Promote awareness of BAM’s sustainability strategy and key themes (decarbonisation, circular economy, climate adaptation, and biodiversity).
- Be willing to support the wider team when delivering training and awareness sessions.
Client Focus:
- Support winning work and project delivery, and provide tender support with guidance from an ESM or SESM.
- As required, undertake research into key clients’ environmental sustainability targets.
