Role: Project Manager
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: 75,000 + Package
Our client a regional contractor are seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Retail) throughout Yorkshire. Due to secured works in the region of 90m for 2025 they now have the need to bring in an experienced Project Manager to lead on projects between the value of 500K- 25m.
Job Description:
- Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
- Coordianting Site & Utility preperation (pre-construction)
- Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
- Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
- Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
- Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
- Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person
- Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Liaising with Site Management in terms of build programmes and updates
