We're seeking a motivated individual for our Apprentice Information Governance, Risk and Compliance Coordinator role. This apprenticeship program offers a Level 3 Business Apprenticeship upon completion.In this role, you'll work within the Information Governance, Risk and Compliance team, a small, friendly and hard-working team. We all work remotely with occasional visits to the office. You will be the team Coordinator, right at the centre of the team. You will support with overseeing the compliance mailbox, contribute to policy development, handle key reporting functions, coordinate meetings, and perform a variety of administrative tasks, including process improvement and stakeholder collaboration. As part of this apprenticeship, you will contribute and learn to take responsibility for: Compliance Mailbox Management: Efficiently handle compliance-related emails (examples include incidents reported by colleagues, data breaches, request for information from our industry regulators, and queries from colleagues/stakeholders). Policy Management Support: Under guidance, develop policy templates, update the policy matrix, and manage electronic files and intranet content. Reporting: We receive a lot of requests for information from our Industry Regulators. You will learn to oversee those submission deadlines and update of key information trackers. You will also be updating the IGRC action tracker, including escalating overdue actions to the appropriate person. Also, support the development of the monthly Ofgem Account Manager report. Meeting Coordination: You will work closely with the Head of IGRC to support the Information Governance Security Working Group meetings (crafting agendas, attending the meetings, and capturing actions and assisting with the follow up on actions). You will also provide administrative support for ad-hoc Customer Operations meetings and manage compliance diary bookings. Administrative Duties: There will be an element of document proofreading, raising of purchase orders/invoices, supporting on the submission of audit documents and associated meeting setup, team meeting support, and process improvement initiatives. Desirables: Experience in administrative/office support, particularly within legal and regulatory compliance audit areas. Individuals need to spend at least 50% of their working hours in England over the duration of their apprenticeship so the role is open to candidates based in England only.
