Reporting to the Head of IT, the Lead Developer role is an exciting opportunity to work with a small in-house business system (ERP, eCommerce, CRM and BI) whilst supporting the team to drive continual improvement across the global operations. You will do this by specifying, developing and testing key processes and integrations on platforms such as ERP, DTC and other supporting applications.
Key areas of accountability are as follows:

Leading and managing the development team to deliver innovative and secure IT solutions.

Carrying out developments to agreed success criteria aligned with the business need.

Following AGILE sprint methodology, prioritised by the Global Projects team.

Providing mentorship, technical leadership, and enforcing development standards.

Representing IT in development project meetings and taking on ownership of tasks.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement solutions.

Staying curious and enthusiastic about using automation to solve problems and inspiring others to see the benefit of your work.

To be considered for the role you must display:

Proven professional experience in enterprise software development and SDLC.

Leadership experience managing a team of developers.

Demonstrated good commercial awareness.

Strong Python experience (6+ years).

Strong Microsoft Azure Integration Services experience (LogicApps, Service Bus, API Management, etc.).

An in-depth understanding of system design, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.

Proficiency in performance tuning, debugging, and secure coding practices.

Desirable experience with T-SQL, X++, and MS D365 F&O (SCM / AX)
