Position Overview
The Senior Luxury Travel Consultant is key in managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients while delivering exceptional, bespoke travel experiences. This position requires a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional with expertise in luxury destinations, five-star resorts, and premium travel services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Leisure to ensure seamless, high-end travel arrangements while identifying opportunities for growth and enhancing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored luxury travel solutions.
- Offer bespoke travel experiences, including private villas, luxury resorts, and exclusive excursions.
- Handle client bookings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring flawless travel arrangements.
- Secure and process payments with discretion and efficiency.
- Identify and recommend additional luxury services to enhance the client experience.
- Work closely with preferred luxury travel partners and suppliers to secure the best rates and perks.
- Ensure all travel documentation and arrangements are handled with precision and efficiency.
- Consistently meet and exceed personal KPIs and service expectations.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of high-end travel products, services, and industry trends.
- Uphold and promote EFR Travel’s luxury brand identity and values.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and industry networking events.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and recommend training opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Extensive experience working in luxury leisure travel, specialising in bespoke and high-end experiences.
- Strong knowledge of exclusive worldwide travel destinations and luxury hospitality brands.
- Proficiency in GDS systems, with Amadeus preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to curate seamless travel itineraries.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure premium perks and benefits for clients.
- Self-motivated and capable of delivering exceptional service independently or in a team.
- Ability to manage complex itineraries with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with discerning clients and luxury suppliers.
