Contract – Ongoing no end date (Very long term) Shifts Early mornings – Monday to Sunday (00:00 – 02:30 starts) Driver Resource are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 Drivers (HGV/LGV) to work on an ongoing basis for our Client UPS on the Costco contract based at Crick, Northamptonshire. Duties fare – 1/2 Trunks per day to Costco stores with a possible collection on return from one of their suppliers. This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination. The only time a driver is expected to help with loading will be at one for the Clients customers. All other sites will load the vehicle themselves. Average hours fare 10-12 per day. However, weekday hours can be longer in busy periods. Weekend shifts generally tend to be shorter averaging 8 hours. Minimum 8 hours always apply unless running in after a night out. My Client is a 7 day a week operation. We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to commit to working Tuesday – Saturday with the option to work an additional shift every fortnight to suit the business needs. availability is taken the week prior and shifts times are texted out daily by 9:00/9:30am the day before. This is a fulltime contract. 5/6 days per week. Class 1 driver (HGV/LGV C+E Drivers) Pay rates; PAYE PAYE WITH HOLIDAY UMBRELLA Monday – Friday £17:00 £19.05 £22.44 Saturday £19:00 £21.29 £25.08 Sunday £21:00 £ 23.53 £27.72 Rate will increase by £1.00 per hour from 25th Nov 24 – 5th Jan 25. The Client also offers a yearly drivers bonus recognition scheme for all of the Class 1 drivers (HGV/LGV) which is paid annually at Christmas.
