As Country Regulatory Manager , you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the resources and processes needed for registration, re-registration and label extensions procedures in the United Kingdom and Ireland in agreement with Regulatory Leader UK/IE.

Your Challenge:

  • Responsible for all regulatory aspects, currently in accordance with Regulation EC 1107/2009, for a portfolio of products from development through to commercial launch.

  • Liaison with internal and external specialists to ensure quality technical support for regulatory matters related to product development, approval, and operational excellence.

  • Fostering of trusted partnerships with external regulatory bodies and various stakeholders to understand, interpret and communicate key external developments impacting the current and future regulatory landscape

  • Cooperate in GB and European Regulatory and Technical networks, collecting and delivering all necessary national documentation for registrations according to local requirements.

  • Ensure successful product authorizations by preparation and on-time submission of high quality registration dossiers to the regulatory authorities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

  • Manage and track progress of national regulatory packages in accordance with work plans together with the UK/IRL Integrated Field Scientist Leader to ensure timely inclusion of biology package into the overall registration dossier.

  • Ensure that internal regulatory databases and tracking tools are maintained.

  • Ensure compliant labelling, in accordance with regulatory authorisations and local packaging and labelling legislation and manage all aspects of label creation and documentation in internal and external databases.

  • Partner closely with UK/IRL commercial leaders and functional partners to ensure timely communication of key regulatory information.

  • Member of the relevant Local Product Concept Team (LPCT) Team consisting of Marketing Specialist, Field Scientist, Regulatory specialist, Customer Representative) to ensure regulatory compliance and timely advice.

  • Targeted communication with commercial, food chain and supply chain departments.

  • Appropriate degree/diploma with specialization in agriculture, biology, chemistry or equivalent discipline with related experience in natural or agricultural sciences.

  • Experience in registration of plant protection products, equally important is an enthusiasm for regulatory policy and succeeding in a highly regulated sector.

  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, analyze range of studies and extract relevant information for drafting of comprehensive dossiers for submission

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, efficient and well organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

  • Empathetic listener with strong customer focus skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Capability to formalize and manage diverse projects.

  • Self-motivation to identify and fulfill customer and stakeholder needs.

  • Agility, pro-activity and dynamism are essential in a growing international company.

  • IT literate including high proficiency in Microsoft Office suit and ability to quickly learn successful use of internal bespoke databases.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
