Job Description
Job Purpose
The GDS / Travel Training Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering company training programmes that enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of GTC Independent Travel Advisors. This role ensures alignment of L&D initiatives with organizational goals to drive Independent Travel Advisor revenue generation, address knowledge gaps and overall company success.

1. Training Needs Analysi
- s:Assess training and development needs through performance needs and deliver training in conjunction with company strategy and revenue goal
- s.Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement across the busines

2. Training Design and Delive
- ry:Develop engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and training guid
- es.Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessio
- ns.Customize learning solutions to address specific team or departmental nee
- ds.Support new Independent Travel Advisor onboarding process and provide full onboarding training suppo

3. Evaluation and Report
- ing:Measure the effectiveness of training programmes using feedback, assessments, and performance metr
- ics.Prepare reports on training outcomes and provide recommendations for improvem

4. Learning Technolo
- gies:Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track training prog
- rams.Stay updated on new L&D technologies and integrate them into the organisation’s stra

- ation:Work closely with Leadership and all GTC UK business unit’s to align training initiatives with organizational objec

Qualifications and
