Job Title: Art Technician
Location: Richmond, South West London
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) – Term-Time Only

We are seeking a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Art Technician to join our dynamic Art Department at a thriving Secondary School in Kingston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the arts and education to play a key role in supporting both staff and students in a vibrant learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise materials, tools, and resources for art lessons across KS3-KS5
- Maintain and manage stock, order supplies, and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
- Assist in setting up displays of students\’ work around the school and for exhibitions
- Provide technical support during practical lessons, including ceramics, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Ensure the Art rooms and prep areas are clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Support students with their practical work when required, under the guidance of the Art teaching team
What We\\\’re Looking For
- A strong interest in the arts and/or a background in Art & Design (degree or equivalent desirable)
- Practical knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques (including ceramics and printmaking preferred)
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not essential
