Senior Production Supervisor

Senior Production Supervisor Willand EX15 Salary £32,500 Previous experience in a production supervisor role at a senior level is required. Job Summary Working in Willand in-between junctions 27 and 28 of the M5 (no work from home option). The factory hours are 0600 to midnight, weekdays. This role will start at 0530 until 16:30 Monday to Thursday with overtime (if required) Fridays. Responsibilities and Duties * Supervising start-ups. * Monitoring staff, staff breaks and end of shift practices. * Deploying staff and redeploying in instances where the plan changes. * Checking production paperwork. * Taking part in monthly stock checks and carrying out weekly packaging stock checks. * Taking a key role in the daily ‘walkabout’ monitoring good manufacturing procedures throughout the site. Qualifications and Skills * Good natured, motivated, cooperative, proactive, positive and responsive to the requirements of their customer focused business. * A ‘people person’ who can be tough with kindness. * Ability to cope calmly under pressure and to prioritise. * Previous experience in a production supervisor role at a senior level is required.
