We are currently looking to recruit an experienced site engineer for a 4 week temporary position working on a new build production factory scheme in Ibstock, Leics, LE67 6HS that commences on the 23rd January 2017. It is essential that the site engineer is able to operate total one man stations, can read drawings, be able to mark up the site drawings, produce as built surveys and be available from the 23rd January 2017. The ideal candidate must be experienced with setting out for new build projects and ground works with a proven track record of working for main contractors in the construction sector and it is desirable they have their own one man total station. The work will involve setting up and dealing with Quality Assurance, being the point of contact and responsible on site for all sub contractors along with the standard requirements of a site engineer. SMSTS/SSSTS and a First Aid certificate are desirable and a relevant CSCS card is essential. Experience as minimum, at the

following: Setting out, levelling and surveying the site. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Carrying out Quality Checks of ground works Excellent communication skills will be essential as you will be liaising with Clients, Consultants, sub-contractors and senior management.
