Skilled Farm Worker required for progressive Arable farm in Norfolk.
Candidate Requirements.
• Competent and experienced tractor driver
• Telehandler and/or loading shovel certificates.
• Pa1 and Pa2 certificates.
• Experienced with drill applications.
• Experienced with Fertiliser applications.
• Experienced with cultivations.
• Root crop harvesting would be advantageous.
• Workshop skills
• Attention to detail, self-disciplined and a person who takes pride in their work.
• Individual must have a passion for farming and a willingness to complete tasks to a reasonable standard.
This role is quite varied, and the applicant must realise their duties are not limited to the above
We are a progressive arable farm growing a variety of combinable, forage and root crops. The candidate should have accurate record keeping skills, good communication skills and be able to work on their own and as part of a team.
As part of the wider aspect of farming there will be a hands-on approach to build on the environmental schemes for the farm, which include hedge planting and maintenance.
