Mobile HGV Technician

As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Routine Servicing and Repairs: Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections, and subsequent repairs on Distribution Tractors, Ro-Ro Tractors, and other sea port equipment.

• Visual and Operational Checks: Conduct checks to locate worn, dirty, or maladjusted parts.

• Technical Inspections: Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective machine parts, components, or systems using a range of test equipment.

• Accident Damage Inspections: Undertake thorough inspections of accident-damaged machines and produce accurate reports to facilitate repair processes.

• Mobile Technician Duties: Be prepared to work away from home on customer vehicles, with or without workshop facilities being available for use.

Due to increased business levels, our specialist vehicle manufacturer is looking to add a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join a growing company and work with a variety of heavy goods vehicles., To be successful in this role, you should have:

• HGV Experience: Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles.

• Technical Expertise: Any previous HGV technician experience will be beneficial.

• Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence.

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair.(Prefered)

Pay: £58,000.00-£62,000.00 per year
