Harry at Amber Mace is recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Learning Disability Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a small residential care service in Worthing. We are seeking a Learning Disability Manager to lead and manage a team providing high-quality, person-centred support for adults with physical disabilities. It gives you the opportunity to not only be part of a great service, but also have a healthy work-life balance. • Overseeing daily operations and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. • Leading, developing, and mentoring a team of care professionals. • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practices. • Managing budgets and resources effectively. • Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders. • Creating tailored support plans that enhance independence and well-being. Experience: • Previous experience as a registered manager or a learning disability or physical disability service. • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures. • Commercial Business Acumen – Able to understand Finances, P&L's and service growth. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • A passion for empowering people with disabilities to live independently.
