List Recruitment is seeking a Control and Power Engineer for a long-term contract role based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire. The Control and Power Engineer will report into the Terminal Control & Power Engineer for guidance and oversight but will be responsible for all day-to-day Control, Power & Instrumentation (CP&I) maintenance on a top tier COMAH site.  It may be required to assist in the execution of Capital Projects on an ad-hoc basis.   The position will oversee a small team of technicians in the day-to-day planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks on a busy site often working alongside other disciplines.    Maintenance Plan, schedule and order materials required for maintenance task on site. Manage the C&P maintenance budget. Management of external specialist contractors carrying out work on site. Nominated Site Responsible Person for Control Power & Instrumentation activity Undertakes regular documented site audit of the work quality & competence of the term maintenance and specialist contractors. To include audit of HSEQ aspects and ensure continued accreditation to ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO9001. Primary point of contact to advise company personnel in all matters CP&I Attend daily work planning and resource meetings with operations personnel and other disciplines to ensure effective, efficient, and safe works execution. Ensure compliance with National, International and Company Standards for the procurement and installation of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment. Full understanding of the requirements for Flameproof (FLP), Increased Safety and Intrinsic Safety for the IP Zones Identify long term obsolescence and replacement requirements to be added to the long-range budget plan Be available to be contacted out of hours on occasions, if deemed required to keep the operations running.    Experience Required Degree (or equivalent) in Instrument/Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas / Terminals industry. Understanding of Instrument control schemes, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC’s), electrical distribution and protection, electrical motor drives, Fire & Gas Detection Systems etc. Experience in the installation, inspection and maintenance of equipment in explosive gas atmospheres specifically, ATEX directives IEC (phone number removed) & 17). Experience of Functional Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems. Electricity at Work Regulations. High Voltage Switching and Safe Systems of Work.
