ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main responsibility as a Housekeeping Assistant will be working as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained within the home. You will follow our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are upheld.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

To succeed in your application, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in all you do. Our ideal candidate must have:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
- Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
- A demonstrated compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.
- The ability to be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
