A well-respected and well-established company based in St Albans are looking for a Construction Helpdesk Coordinator to join their friendly and close-knit Planned Preventative Maintenance team.
This is a busy and fast paced position that offers great training and progression opportunities!
You will be responsible for managing jobs, prioritising and dealing with them from start to finish!, · First point of contact for incoming telephone calls and services requests received by telephone and email.
· Working with live reporting system ensuring all assigned jobs are started and completed within the contract SLA
· Sort and dispatch calls to engineers or sub-contractors based on the correct skills set, geographical location and service delivery arrangements
· Prioritise urgent jobs and plan and dispatch operative/sub-contract support to address urgent demand.
· Attend training and Health and Safety courses from time to time as directed by the Contracts Manager
· At least 2 years in a similar position, ideally able to demonstrate knowledge in the facilities/construction field.
· Confident on the phone with engineers and subcontractors
· Focused – being aware of all jobs that are taking place and monitoring them so nothing slips through the net!
