Are you looking for a part-time opportunity as a production operative, working for an organisation committed to providing innovative solutions, high performance products and a focus on sustainability. At Weber we\’re looking for a part time Production Operative to work in our production team. You\’ll be trained on all processes, enabling you to work across our manufacturing facility to fulfil our customers\’ orders. This Production Operative role will be a part of the Operations team, which is a small but mighty team of superstars who keep our operation running. Weber is part of Saint-Gobain, we specialise in the manufacture of industrial mortar products including renders and decorative finishes, tile fixing products, floor screeds, technical mortars and external wall insulation systems. We manufacture from our plants in three locations across the UK which reduces our costs and carbon footprint to supply and transport our products to their local markets. The annual salary for 20 hours is Β£(phone number removed). You\’ll also be eligible for shift premium dependant on the hours you work. There is an annual bonus, pension, and lots of other benefits too! THIS ROLE IS TO WORK 10AM TO 2PM MONDAY – FRIDAY What we\’re looking for: Ideally experienced in a manufacturing/production environment A health and safety focus and the ability to understand and demonstrate the Saint-Gobain code of principles and conduct Experience with autonomous maintenance and continuous improvement would be a bonus! Ability to work both individually and as part of a team FLT experience if possible (although we will train you up)What you will be doing Operating the production line including tasks such as quality checks and feeding the line with raw materials Using MHE to lift and move product Undertake a full training programme, giving you greater earning potential as you reach different levels on the skills matrix Solve problems with production and identify areas for improvementAre Weber and Saint-Gobain inclusive employers?
