We’re on the lookout for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team and take charge of delivering impactful oil & gas pipeline projects across the UK. What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager with us, you’ll be at the forefront of our pipeline construction projects, ensuring their commercial success, timely delivery, and adherence to all safety and quality standards. You’ll:
- Take ownership of diverse oil & gas pipeline construction and installation projects nationwide.
- Organise logistics, delegate tasks, and manage budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Build strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices across all projects.
- Solve challenges, inspire teams, and continuously improve processes to exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Plan and supervise the workforce, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor compliance with client specifications and contractual commitments.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and construction diaries.
- Proactively resolve construction challenges and ensure seamless delivery.
- Motivate teams to achieve project goals while building a positive and collaborative work environment.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in the oil & gas industry (focused on above-ground installations and pipelines).
- Proven expertise in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of trenchless crossing techniques like HDD & Micro Tunneling.
- Experience in Project Engineering and Design Management.
- A solid grasp of the NEC contract framework and a working knowledge of project management tools like Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
