Mechanical Project Manager – Dartford (with London Projects) Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + Benefits Location: Dartford, with some travel to London Industry: Building Services | M&E | Commercial Fit Out Are you a driven Mechanical Project Manager looking to join a well-established M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of prestigious projects? We are working with a leading building services contractor with a turnover of circa £130 million, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team based in Dartford. The company boasts a solid order book and long-term relationships with tier-one main contractors such as Morgan Sindall, Kier, and Thomas Sinden. The Role: As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee CAT A and CAT B office fit out schemes, managing projects from pre-construction through to handover. Project values typically range from £2m to £10m. You will report directly to an Operations Manager with an electrical background, giving you the autonomy to take full ownership of the mechanical side of your projects. Key Responsibilities: * Full lifecycle project management, from planning to delivery * Coordinating design, procurement, and installation of mechanical services * Managing subcontractors, site teams, and liaising with clients and main contractors * Budget management and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope * Working collaboratively with electrical counterparts and wider project teams Requirements: * Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on commercial fit out projects * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and associated mechanical systems * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high-quality standards * Excellent leadership and communication skills * SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications What’s On Offer: * Competitive salary of £70,000 – £75,000 * Attractive benefits package * Opportunity to work on landmark commercial projects * Career progression within a stable, expanding company
