Air Import Operator

We are looking for an Import Operator with experience in managing shipments via Air. This role is working for a well established company who offer a supportive working environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing end to end shipments for regular customers. The company Import from various locations so we will consider candidates with any experience within freight forwarding. Main duties to include: Managing Imports for regular clients Obtaining the best prices from carriers and negotiating rates Ensuring customers have the correct solution that meets their needs Ensure all shipments have the correct documentation Update customers and carriers with any changes Resolve queries relating to lost, damaged or delayed shipments We are looking for: Experience of managing Air Imports Experience in a freight forwarder or similar business Overview of customs processes Excellent communication skills Someone who is organised and sees tasks through to completion Ability to work to deadlines Salary: £30k-£35k Hybrid 3 days in the office Hours: 9am-5.30pm (can be flexible) Parking available 23 days holiday plus stats, rising with service Christmas bonus Healthcare If you are interested in this role, apply and submit your CV
