Operating Hours: 24/7 L3 support (on call – Rota basis)

Work Location: Remote (1 day per month on site – Croydon)

Montash is partnered with a high-profile IT consultancy and is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage and enhance cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security. The role includes supporting high-availability services, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Automate infrastructure with scripting and orchestration tools.
• Design and manage AWS cloud architectures for scalability and security.
• Ensure platform reliability with monitoring tools and proactive measures.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and security best practices (PKI, hardening, vulnerability management).
• Support microservices architectures and secure deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct peer reviews, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Handle ITIL-based incident, service, and change requests.
• Maintain and update service documentation.

Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker/Rancher & Microservices Architecture (high availability)

Puppet Labs, Terraform, Helm, CI/CD & Git
