KAP Technical are working with a well-established leader in metal fabrication, known for delivering high-quality, precision-engineered solutions.
They are currently seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder Fabricator to join the team. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components and assemblies from technical drawings to high standards of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
- Fabricate components using tools such as grinders, saws, and presses
- Perform accurate measurements and quality checks
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks to deadline
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in both MIG and TIG welding
- Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Solid fabrication skills using various machinery and hand tools
- Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Welding certifications are desirable but not essential
