As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new growth in shipping to Turkey and the Far East. This new role within the organisation presents a real opportunity for a successful individual to create their own future opportunities in a privately owned business. Key Responsibilities: • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new repeat business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector, focusing on shipping to Turkey and the Far East. • Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client base and market presence in the targeted regions. • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Industry Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of the freight forwarding industry to provide innovative solutions and insights to clients. • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to inform strategic decisions. • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and business development initiatives to senior management.
