06:00 – 14:15 Early shift, 14:00 – 22:15 Late shift, 22:00 – 06:15 Night Shift (4 hours Friday)

Uncapped Overtime

£21.79 per Hour (average shift rate included) – pay award pending

Due to an ever-increasing orderbook, we are aiming to expand capacity at our site in Rochdale and we are seeking CNC Machinists to join our team. We are a leading supplier of Machinery

The role provides the opportunity for a permanent position within our award-winning engineering facility where we annually spend more than £2m every year in capital investment. Industry leading apprenticeship scheme (5-years) recruiting 6 per year.

The Role

Setting and operating of Fanuc/Heidenhain CNC Milling Machines to produce low volume precision parts

Setting up tooling and fixturing, prove out and execute part programs

Follow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality Policies

Collaborate with colleagues and provide training if required.

The Person

Experienced in writing and editing programs and able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standard

Competent in setting and operating CNC machines

Able to perform initial inspections of your own/a team members' work using a variety of measuring equipment

Sound understanding of materials, modern cutting methods and engineering processes

Produce high quality and accurate output with minimal error rate
