Our client are a leading award winning civil engineering contractor with a diverse project capability spanning highways, river and marine projects UK wide. Working from a strategically placed network of offices due to controlled growth they are recruiting a General Foreman to manage highways/infrastructure projects up to £10m in value in Northamptonshire and the home counties. The General Foreman will be responsible for: Labour management and allocation Purchasing materials Hiring plant and equipment Management of direct labout and subcontractors Toolbox talks and bulletins Carrying out health and safety checks To be considered you’ll have a background in a similar role with a recognised civil engineering contractor. Due to controlled growth in the region opportunities will arise for career progression.
