I am currently recruiting for a company who are an systems integrator on a global scale across the world, they operate in numerous countries with plenty of tier one clients and are currently consistently growing across the UK over the past numerous years. Operational in over 50 countries world wide and forever growing within the UK
This site in Birmingham is a brand new site for the company that is currently finishing the final steps before going live, The site will be fully automated with millions of pounds worth of investment into making sure the site is state of the art for when it opens. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the company, someone who will lead the innovation. So if you are looking to work in automated logistics on a brand new site this is for you
The Role
As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for;
– Managing a team of 2 Multi-Skilled engineers with potential for the team to grow as the site goes live
– Managing 121s and appraisals of your team, being a mentor and upskilling your engineers
– Working to the KPIs on site – to ensure efficiency and machine availability is high
– Supporting shift hand overs, monitoring breakdowns and allocating PPMs on site
– Comfortable working as a hands on engineer and mentoring your engineers
– Working alongside the Engineering manager and supporting recruitment
The Candidate
As a Maintenance Team Leader we are looking for;
– A recognised Engineering qualification
– Someone is who is comfortable working in pressure scenarios in a fast moving environment
– The ability to get upto speed with the site and hit the grown running
– A strong communicator and leadership
Salary and Benefits
As a Maintenance Team Leader you will receive;
– An annual salary of £60,000
– A healthy pension contribution from my client
