The predicted salary is between 16200 - 18000 £ per year.

We are supporting a company based in Milton Keynes with recruiting for a part time Switchboard / Receptionist. Hours are Monday to Friday and can be either working 1pm-5:30 or 1:30-5:30pm. This is a permanent opportunity to start in November 2024 and will be paying a salary of £27k pro rata.

This position is 90% switchboard, therefore you will need to have excellent communication skills and ability to take accurate messages.

Duties will include:

  • Answering telephone calls in a professional manner providing a warm and professional switchboard service.
  • Assisting with ordering equipment and stationery when required.
  • Supporting with other ad hoc administration duties.

You will be the first point of contact for clients and customers over the telephone, therefore you must be able to assist with a positive attitude and have a polite and professional approach to work.

Ideally, you will have previous experience as a receptionist, but this is not essential. If you have previous admin skills within an office, then we would love to discuss further.
