Experienced Health & Safety Advisor required to join a leading civil engineering contractor to oversee a £60M project in Southampton. Traditionally projects include earthworks, roadworks, concrete structures and pilling. Reporting into the Head of Health & Safety and working heavily alongside the quality assurance and site teams. You will be based on their site in Southampton till late summer 2025, with future works across Hampshire and the South Coast. This Health & Safety Advisor role will include regular liaison with subcontractors and clients to ensure they are following the correct business procedure. Enforcing and rolling out Health & Safety management standards and systems, alongside informing legislation changes and business development & strategy. Whilst promoting and providing training for new and existing Health & Safety campaigns. As Health & Safety Advisor your number one priority is to ensure the sites you oversee are operating in alliance with the existing Health & Safety standards. You will be an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with previous involvement within the construction/ civil engineering sector. Former experience working within the civils sector would be advantages.
