About the Role As Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing a high-quality learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our pupils. You will drive forward an inclusive, creative, and engaging curriculum while ensuring outstanding pupil outcomes. With a strong network of support from our central services—including Finance, HR, IT, and School Improvement—you will have all the tools needed to lead successfully. Key Responsibilities * Deliver outstanding educational outcomes tailored to pupils' individual needs, abilities, and aptitudes. * Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of both pupils and staff. * Meet all statutory and regulatory requirements as defined by the DfE, Ofsted, and other external bodies, striving for the highest inspection ratings. * Foster a highly motivated and engaged staff team committed to achieving excellence and continuous professional development. * Oversee the commercial success of the school by ensuring full pupil occupancy, effective cost management, and the implementation of growth plans. * Develop and execute a strategic vision that aligns with the wider Options Autism strategy, inspiring pupils, staff, and the entire school community. Essential Criteria * A minimum of three years' experience as a senior leader in either mainstream or special educational needs schools. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * A strong commitment to personal and professional development. * The ability to lead with vision, clarity, and strategic direction. * A deep understanding of the leadership and management required to enhance pupil outcomes, motivate staff, safeguard children, manage costs, and drive school growth. About Our School Our new School in Bradford is an exciting initiative designed to support up to 37 pupils aged 4-11 years with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Headteacher to lead our team and shape the future of our school from the very beginning.
