Sidemen Clothing is a forward-thinking fashion brand specializing in high-quality menswear that combines classic tailoring with contemporary trends. We are seeking a talented and innovative Menswear Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing success.
Job Description:
As a Menswear Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing collections that align with our brand identity while staying ahead of market trends. You will collaborate closely with our design team, pattern makers, and production team to create stylish and functional pieces that appeal to our target audience.
Contracted hours will be adapted to meet the needs of the candidate, with an expectation to work between 24 to 40 hours per week. Salary will range between £28,000 and £38,000 depending on experience. You will be expected to work on-site in Sidcup, London for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands.
- Develop seasonal menswear collections from concept to final production.
- Create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D).
- Select styles and color palettes in line with brand aesthetics.
- Work closely with sample developers to ensure high-quality garment construction
- Stay updated on sustainable fashion practices and incorporate them into designs when possible.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and pattern-making.
- Proficiency in fashion design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D, etc.).
- A keen eye for detail and an innovative approach to design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing menswear designs.
