Team Overview
The Research department leverages industry expertise to assist the bank\’s strategic development and offer targeted advice and services to both current and potential clients – delivering industry insights, advisory assistance, and innovative ideas and solutions internally and externally.
Operating at a high-level strategic capacity, you will collaborate closely with senior management to advise on the influence of market conditions, regulations, and industry trends and the credit direction of the existing portfolio.
Your Role
- Produce industry research reports and analyse company strategies by identifying sector trends, business opportunities, risks and potential customers/transactions.
- Collaborate with global analysts on research and transactions and build relationships with industry leaders and consultants.
- Provide transaction analysis with credit & financial expertise.
- Producing annual industry research reports, involving extensive data analysis, meetings with external consultants and company management, and exploration of new business opportunities for the bank and its clients.
- Creating internal and external presentations following major research reports.
Your Background
- Ideally, you will have a background in real estate, whether in the research divisions of prominent Real Estate firm, or experience covering this sector in an institutional investor, bank, or other major financial institution.
- You will combine a deep knowledge of the Real Estate sector and the ability to understand and analyse financial statements.
- You will be able to create financial models utilising tools like Excel, VBA, PowerBi, and Tableau to present your analyses effectively.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to draft well-structured client presentations and industry reports, as well as confidently deliver presentations to both the bank\’s clients and internal stakeholders.
