Job description
Are you passionate about travel and tourism? Love live music? Are you great with people with a natural talent for communications and delivering service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! MDSG is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing Account Manager with heaps of drive to join our team and support our USA destination clients.
Responsibilities:
· Provide support to the Head of Trade and Communications across representation and PR client activities (UK and European markets)
· Creation and delivery of annual activity/trade/marketing plans
· Client management across US clients including travel at times in the UK, Europe and USA
· Attend travel trade and media events as required
· Tour operator and travel agent destination training (virtual and in-person) – UK and Europe
· Product development (hotels, tours, self-drive itineraries)
· Liaise with tour operators and airlines to update them with client news and in turn, our clients with travel trade booking trends and insights
· Create content for various marketing channels, including social media and promotional websites
· Compile press releases and marketing content
· Support the team with administration duties such client disbursements, monthly trade and media reports, event and campaign wash-up reports
· Support the media and marketing teams with campaign delivery and events

· Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field but will consider other qualifications for the right candidate
· Strong understanding of the travel and tourism sector
· Agency or tour operator experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Creative thinking and stacks of common sense
· Strong ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
· Passion for travel, music and fun!
